This article will guide you on how to completely and properly uninstall Magisk systemless root and eventually unroot your Android phone. Magisk is a systemless root tweak that in short not only allows you to gain systemless root access and hide your root status but also allows you to easily install many additional addons via its Magisk Manager app. There are many modules compatible from sound enhancements modules to UI editor. It is really fun to have Magisk installed.

However, to certain extent you might got bored with it either you want to try other similar tweak or you want to sell your phone so you will need to unroot your phone. If that’s the matter, simply follow a few easy steps below.

Uninstall and Unroot

Step 1 – Launch up the Magisk Manager app by tapping on its icon.

Step 2 – In the app’s home screen, scroll down and find the Uninstall button. Tap on it.

All modules will be disabled/removed. Root will be removed, and potentially encrypt your data if your data is not currently encrypted.

Step 4 – Now simply tap on the “Completely Uninstall” option.
